Remember these fabrics?
Well, this was the first of the three dresses I talked about in March, and look what happened!
The bloomers turned out adorably. I'm a little unhappy with the bodice, as it gaped a small amount at the shoulders. And I didn't quite get to the ribbon on the waistband of the skirts that would have held them looped up properly, so here they are just tucked into the belt (which makes me look weirdly shaped, sadly). But that will be fixed for the next wearing!
Overall, I was very happy with the way this dress turned out. It was comfortable to wear, and adorable to boot.
